With over 25 years of experience in musical instrument repair, education, and business operations, Walker Carter brings a unique blend of hands-on craftsmanship, teaching expertise, and cutting-edge technology to C&C Instrument Care. His journey in instrument repair began before completing his Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Tech University, leading him to open and operate Walker’s Horn Shop, where he built a reputation for precision repair and outstanding customer service.
In addition to his work as a skilled repair technician, Walker spent time as a band director, giving him firsthand insight into the needs of musicians, students, and educators. He later served as the Director of Repair for Palen Music Center, overseeing repair operations across eight locations, managing teams, and ensuring high-quality service for musicians and schools.
Walker further expanded his expertise by earning a degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University, allowing him to integrate technology into the repair industry. His dual background in education, instrument repair, and technical services enables him to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and provide innovative solutions that set C&C Instrument Care apart.
Currently, Walker serves as the Director of Technical Services at Paperwise Inc., specializing in process improvement, technology solutions, and customer service operations. His combined experience in music, education, repair, and technology allows him to bring modern advancements to instrument repair, ensuring C&C Instrument Care provides unmatched quality, efficiency, and service to musicians, educators, and schools.
